I’m afraid it’s very different from that.

Looking at her home, she’s obviously worth a lot herself, and that her daughter is wealthy is known.

I’m afraid she really has wound up a victim of someone’s bad intent.

I hope that she’s alive, but the story is so crazy, and it’s been so many days.

I’m almost certain the poor woman has been murdered and buried in the desert-probably early on in the game-that is why there has been no proof of life. But I still think family or someone else close made the arrangements and hired this out. The whole thing just has that look to it-opportunities/coincidental events, lag in time her till absence was noticed does not match all the supposed concern
for her supposed medical issues, small changes in narrative, etc, etc. It does not match any kidnapping by a cartel I’ve heard of-there is no reason an obscure, older woman with no official status or important family other than a network news reporter would be taken by them, even if she were Hispanic. Hope I’m wrong...
