How stupid and offensive was the the Super Bowl halftime show? Here’s a game that has evolved over the decades to become an unofficial American holiday and long shared a patriotic spirit similar to that felt during Fourth of July celebrations. It has created and sustained tremendous brand value for the National Football League. But rather than protect that investment, Roger Goodell and the NFL lit it on fire for laughs.
Or to make a political statement… I guess. Because it’s pretty difficult to ignore the intended message of “entertainers” singing in a foreign language, waving foreign flags, and simulating raunchy sex while promoting open borders and endless immigration. We get it. All non-English-speaking foreigners intend to invade America, have many babies, and take over the country. I’m surprised Goodell didn’t recite some soppy poem proclaiming that America’s greatness depends entirely on non-Americans from not-so-great places breaking in, fleecing taxpayers, and voting for the same awful policies that made their wretched homelands not-so-great in the first place. Maybe next year the Somalis who have conquered Minnesota can perform their famous ritual dance in which they commit social welfare fraud while laughing at all the stupid Americans willing to commit suicide-by-cop for their sacred honor.
I am so tired of seeing foreign flags being waved in my country. Where else in the world would such behavior be tolerated? Do the multicultural zealots among us actually believe that citizens in China, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan, or Russia would just sit back and clap every time an American interloper ran through their streets waving Old Glory? That’s exactly what it is. Years ago I quit watching and found much better things to do with my time, especially on precious weekends.
We didn’t watch the half-time show and I “mistakenly” watched the entire game with the sound off. I can however, verify that at least 90% of the unlistened to commercials were as revolting and stupid as the unobserved half-time show. The NFL can fail and disappear without any regret, at least from me. Just my $.02.
Oh yeah, and it was crappy game.
Henceforth it is here named …. “The Toilet Bowl”.

I wouldn't know--I watched the TPUSA show. Not my kind of music, but it was patriotic, and I loved the tribute to Charlie Kirk.

American football used to be like that. In the 1960s, the Los Angeles Rams represented our community, and their coach, George Allen was a local hero. When their owner, who played musical chairs with his coaches, tried to fire him in 1968, the fans almost revolted, and because of the uproar, he was retained for two more seasons. But the owner eventually got his way.
And those 12-15 minutes of football turn into, on average, 11 minutes during the entire game where the ball is in play. Even though my son-in-law is a football coach I think it is the most tedious spectator sport out there.
Amen. I had a nice quiet Sunday and didn’t even find out who won until bedtime. All of the people who watched the halftime show were unexpected about it while the media was slobbering about how great it was. I have seen a few seconds of snippets and it looks like the guy had no idea how big the show was supposed to be and he failed miserably.
The author does not seem to be aware of reality in the world. In Mexico, Latin America, Africa, Asia there are many people who fly the US flag and sing the praises of the US.
Of course, they are not covered by the media that the author apparently depends on.
Has anyone filed a complaint with the FCC over the foul language used during that “show”?
Doesn’t matter if it was english or spanish, the NFL needs to be heavily fined and then flogged. ( specifically goodell)
