Strange that they left her life sustaining meds behind ... unless she kept extras somewhere besides regular place where she kept (her meds).
Who would have time for that, though...if this was a kidnapping?
I started speculating a doctor...or visiting aid....or someone who has access to meds....and are familiar of her needs...
