Why wouldn’t they have searched there the first day?

I would presume a body.

It would be a suspicous location if it looked recently disturbed.

The "investigators" seem to be and late and a dollar short on just about everything.

Things they have been looking at this week should have been done in the first few days.

This is just pathetic.

I don’t think it’s a “first day of the investigation” place to look. But it would be up there on the list for the second day.

Why would they look there if the woman is presumed to be alive?

Should have been Day One.
Not if the purpose of the operation is to divert as much media attention as they can as long as they can. 🤔

Was this before, during or after the sheriff attended the AZ/OK State basketball game last night?

At night, it is pitch black behind and around the property.

Not likely that one would try to dispose of a body in such a specific place with no light, knowing that they would most likely leave all types of unseen trace evidence.

I think this is just to scratch it off of their list of places to search.

I don’t think they excluded the possibility of her being dead.

she wouldn’t be in there if she were alive

and if she were deceased, any murderer would be really foolish to put her there right on (or in) the property, imho. her corpse would probably be somewhere else....

but... wth. I am not there and can’t know what’s really going down
