That pesky Constitution. Massie actually adheres to it which is why he votes against all the cr*p not because he wants to defund ICE or whatever but because he is a constitutionalist NOT a radical leftist 🙄🙄🙄

It bears repeating....

If he was a pure Constitutionalist, then every term would show 100%. Being that it does not indicates that at times, he does compromise against the Constitution.

It seems Massie’s stewardship of the Constitution with his score enables spying on campaigns, hoax impeachments, stolen elections and lawfare.

And that’s just the schiff since one other man came down an escalator.

Unfortunately, in the world of political reality, we often need to take wins even if it means a compromise. I’m all for principles, but nothing is frequently worse than something. That said, unconstitutional legislation should never be passed.

A voting score does not reflect who wins from your voting history. Your principal in voting in Congress should also reflect which side wins with your voting history. It is so easy to vote no on everything so you can show how patriotic you are and that the Constitution is your guiding light. That only works where you have a system where there is honor and integrity. You have a congress that is full of devils. Hakeem Jeffries has a wall of power because he has every Democrat in line. They have sold their soul to the devil. Our system of government cannot function with an immoral people. It was designed for a moral people. Massie votes with almost pristine perfection. He will go down in the history books because of his votes. His votes give power to the left. We have the same type of situation in the State of Missouri. A Republican votes no on almost everything - in line with the Democrats all because of “principal”.

My representative Brian FitzRINOpatrick, with a lifetime rating of 27, had the lowest score of any Republican. I am so proud! /s

He is a nut case. BUT

I did a real series of analysis of congress (House, not the Senate) in 2009.

My version was based upon Congress voting record.

What bears remembering is the WHOLE oath he swore, of which supporting the Constitution is only one part:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Many of Massie’s antics such as defunding ICE fail to defent against enemies foreign and domestic. As many founding fathers feared, the oath was unnecessary and limiting, for example should members of Congress not also be required to support federal law? Much of which is not described by the Constitution.

Delegate James Wilson of Pennsylvania viewed oaths as “left handed security only” and that “a good government did not need them and a bad one could not or ought not to be supported.” The lexicographer and political writer Noah Webster called oaths “instruments of slavery” and a “badge of folly, borrowed from the dark ages of bigotry.” Both Wilson and Webster argued that people would be naturally inclined to support just governments so oaths were unnecessary. Many others thought such concerns were overwrought. In his 1833 Commentaries on the Constitution, Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story wrote that requiring oaths for government officials “would seem to be a proposition too clear to render any reasoning necessary in support of it.”

Trump can suggest he refuses to sign any bills until the Senate and House remove the all representatives of the states that confirm an inaccurate count of ballots occurred in 2020. Furthermore, some states have refused to send the voter registration files when properly requested by the Feds. All those states should be removed from Congress as well. Let ‘em pass 2 election audits to get their representation back for the state.

There’s fighting then there’s fighting effectively!
The tactic of saying do it my way or I’ll go home does nothing! Constitutional observance isn’t advanced, only thing advanced is Massie and Rand’s PR and sense of self-importance.
