One of the world's richest men, Bill Gates, has broken his silence following allegations surfacing in the latest round of documents released regarding convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
'The focus was always, he knew a lot of very rich people and he was saying he could get them to give money to global health,' Gates said in an interview with Nine News on Wednesday.
Gates gave his 'only Australian TV interview' with the network during a trip to the country for the Australian Open, which ran from January 12 to February 1 at Melbourne Park.
The billionaire continued: 'You know, in retrospect that was a dead end and I was foolish to spend time with him. I am one of many people who regret ever knowing him.
'Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was never sent. The email is, you know, false.
'I don't know what his thinking was there. Every minute that I spent with him, I regret and I apologise that I did that.

Bill could have been trying to dose her before she showed symptoms and before her next physical. Depending on the infection, it could have been completely cured and undetected without her knowing.
You're not the only one who noticed it. They were targeted by such blackmailers because they have it written all over them.
These predators are professional con men. They got to where they are because they can read a mark very well and know what to rope them in with.
He likely has little evidence to turn over other than his own actions. These perpetrators are professionals.

You do realize there is no requirement that antibiotics only be available in the US? His staff could pick some up literally anywhere in the world and have them to him on a Gulfstream V in a few hours.
He was powerdrunk. He forgot that the mighty usually end up falling harder than the ones they try to suppress.
If he was effective at carrying out his intentions, he wouldn't be in this situation to start with.

Instead of actually sending email to each other, both Petraeus and Broadwell left unsent messages in a draft folder or in an electronic dropbox. The other person could then log into the same account and read the emails there, without creating an actual email trail.

Gates no doubt sees what threatens or is already happening. No more honorary degrees and public awards, with revocations perhaps of those that he has received. No university buildings named for him in return for big contributions. His foundation falling into question. His kids taking up their mother's maiden last name. Only a limited role in family gatherings and diminished contact with the grandchildren. A risk of getting heckled whenever he appears in public.
Gates must at times wonder how he could suffer such a turn. His immense wealth and success was supposed to make people always at least pretend to like him and to ignore or forgive his derelictions. Now Gates finds that his money and fame no longer give him immunity but make him a target. It is all so unfair that the rules seem to have changed -- but so fully deserved because the rules have not changed.
Gates should have paid more attention in that freshman Introduction to Western Civ course at Harvard. Not only is the God of the Jews and Christians not to be mocked, but as the Greeks knew, Nemesis, the just balancer of Fortune, may appear at a time of her choosing but usually toward the end. And apologies are never enough to stop her.

For my part “almost certainly for one or more intelligence agencies” suffices — and at the least whether we ever get any of the marks/Johns on criminal charges, they need to be removed from any office or position of responsibility because of that. (At minimum!— if all was made known it’d probably be a pitchfork and torch situation unless that makes someone think those wacky 17th-letter-people were right. Ha. Ha.)
