Dobies are very nice dogs.
My faves, however, are Keeshonds, who almost always have their own show. Apparently dont mix well with other breeds.
My. girl, “Keesha Suzanne, the Gorgeoous Goddess of Keeshonds.” AKA “Keesh”, came from Animal Control where she escaped death by 45 seconds when I got her. That was decades ago, and I still shed a tear when I see a Keeshond. (My cat doesn’t care.(Cats rule)
she is a beautiful dog but, to me, it’s how she showed.
She had a champion’s presence.
Well done to the breeder and handler!
A Penny pinshcer?
Good doggie.
Her stance is perfect.
I liked the Afghans.
Then again, I don’t know how you can distinguish among them.
Afghan.
It was rumored that the winner then bit the judge.
And the wiener dog didn’t win because WHY?
The Westminster Dog Show is one of the dumbest events there is. Right up there with the Grammys, Oscars etc.
Such a timely post. Hubby & I just watched “Best in Show” tonight which was hilarious. Now all I could see in my mind as I read the article were the characters in the movie, lol.
We are a hound family in Michigan. And, my sister's is a retriever/herding family out West.
But Penny was LOCKED. IN.
She, of all the dogs, just knew why she was there and quietly, confidently won the whole dang thing.
