Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., held a town hall Tuesday evening in her home district amid recent shootings involving federal immigration agents and local agitators in Minneapolis.
The event started out mostly uneventful until a man attacked the congresswoman with some sort of chemical spray that had a foul odor, according to those close by. Those nearby Omar wanted her to leave, but Omar refused and continued on.
"Please don't let them have the show," Omar could be heard saying after she was hit with the foul-smelling spray. "We will continue! These f----ing a--holes are not going to get away with this."
"Here is the reality that people like this ugly man don't understand," Omar said as she returned to the microphone. "We are Minnesota strong, and we will stay resilient in the face of whatever they might throw at us."

Then, she refuses to go to the hospital even though your first reaction would be that it was Aids blood or acid.

Likely it was either deodorant or bug spray. That said, it was likely staged.
If not staged, it was inappropriate.

Arrest the guy. I don’t want this to be the start of a trend. And if this was a set-up, let that come out.
It shouldn’t be too hard to find the guy, unless the local police are totally incompetent.
For that matter, since she’s a Congressperson, this should be a federal case.
There are multiple videos that show what looks like her making eye contact with him and nodding a second before he gets up and goes towards her.
She didn’t know what it was, supposedly, but didn’t seem too concerned about an unknown substance being sprayed on her - it could have been poison or something acidic but she was unconcerned. I would expect that reaction from someone who KNEW what it was.
I watched. It was staged.
