The Budweiser Clydesdales are back for the Super Bowl in 2026 – and they’re teaming up with a couple of other American icons: a bald eagle and legendary Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd.
On Jan. 26, the day after the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks punched their tickets to Super Bowl LX by defeating the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, respectively, St. Louis-based Budweiser debuted its latest Super Bowl commercial on social media.

My wife’s dad had a recording studio here in Jacksonville in the 60s and 70s.......he saw them in a bar here, liked their sound and asked if they wanted to record some demos...at that time they were calling themselves “The One Percent”..they agreed and he and his partner recorded 6 songs.
One of which was none other than Freebird.....the very first time it was ever captured on tape.
Later, they changed their name and not long after that MCA scooped them up.
My wife’s dad passed away in 2015 and now she is co-owner of the rights to those 6 demo recordings.
This is Freebird.....if you look at the description details you’ll see Jim Sutton and Tom Markham were producers.
Jim Sutton was my wife’s dad.
True story, every word. 🙂

I won’t watch, don’t want to take the chance that funny bunny will be having sex with the horses.
Cool, really?? & Cool, music history!
Bud Lite and NFL = perverted scum.
Good one!
Go, Pats!
I like it. I’d only change it by adding a big American Flag on the barn or something similar.
Will Dylan mulvaney be riding the horse? Or vice versa?
“Piss-poor product. “
I don’t know...maybe it is a piss-rich product?
Is Dylan Mulvaney riding the rear of one of those beasts?
They left out the part where the Clydesdale stomps a liberal rioter to a pulp and then gently feeds the pulp to the eaglet. They have to eat three times their weight every day, after all.
Hauntingly beautiful. Thanks very much for posting this.
Anheuser-Busch is really really trying to win white males back.
Groveling, piss on em.
Or, is there another one coming?
Nope. Not when it comes to the Clydesdale. In my book, they are not guilty by association.
Just did.
I live a few miles from Grant’s Farm outside ST. Louis, where they keep many of the Clydesdales. Fortunately, I get to see these horses frequently. They are majestic animals and I am always in awe of them.
Awesome!
Wow. Thanks for sharing.
