I guess I’ll have to thank the Biden bunch for creating enough inflation to make me convert all of my spare cash into gold and silver. I’ll just keep moving my range bars up and wait for the next market correction. Woo hoo!

The China SGE just opened at 1800- Silver popped up to $105.38 and rising. We shall see if the US Crimex shorts it back down tommorrow morning at 0830.

….the Crimex is finally playing a losing game. They finally lost Silver pricing to the East….no tears.

Same here, but as the result of three marriages. My first wife threw her wedding and engagement rings at me when we broke up back in 1990. When I buried my second wife in 2017, I kept all of her jewelry (I had enough money invested in it), then I remarried in 2020, she will most likely outlive me, but I still have access to it. It is all insured too.

My high school class ring for Class of 73 was $42. I graduated from UCSD with the Class of 1976. The ring is a similar size and cost $120. Both are likely close to an ounce of gold. In recent years, the class rings have been offered in alternative (not gold) metals to make them affordable. Same applies to inset stones.
