Together,
The two stories provide the evidence of why it is that conservatives lose and progressives win.
How many conservatives are going to show up for huge protests in North Carolina over the sad deaths of Fletcher Harris and Skylar Provenza?
That's why we lose. We're the authors of our own political obituaries. I wish some high profile conservative activist was out there saying they were planning huge demonstrations. I would absolutely be planning a week or more off of work with my vacation time, and plane tickets, etc.
I want to matter, and we could absolutely be raising the boat about Harris'/Provenza's deaths. I'm surrounded by people who refuse to be relevant. Here is a Fox story about the same topic:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/college-soccer-star-girlfriend-dead-illegal-immigrants-record-ignites-lawmaker-fury-statewide
Headline: "College soccer star, girlfriend dead as illegal immigrant’s record ignites lawmaker fury statewide"
Statewide? Excuse me statewide?
We don't have to let the liberal media dominate. We're letting them dominate by not getting involved. Trump needs our help, and all of us are nowhere to be found. So the media gets to act like Alex Pretti is the only story and they get absolutely no competition from we-the-people. No competition at all. North Carolina representative Mark Harris asked the following question:
"Where’s the outrage? Where are the protests? If this were any other tragedy, the streets would be filled—but when criminal aliens kill Americans, the silence from the Left is deafening."
It isn't just silence from the left. The silence from the right is arguably even more problematic. Not only are we abandoning this family, but we are abandoning Trump. We could be giving him legitimacy with tens of thousands of people in the streets.
But our couches await!

Wanted to say this separately.
There are a lot of complaints about fake paid for protesters.
1000 fake protesters are more powerful than 0 real protesters. I don’t make the rules.
I didn’t see the city in the article.
The Border Patrol, not ICE.
Wouldn't the desk chair at your computer apply?
