The schools are closed along with several government agencies and NFP's that cater to seniors and poor people in DeKalb, IL. Current temp is -12, Feel Like is -35.

With all of the pre-virtue signaling leading up to a "sympathy strike" here to support the Minnie protests, I did not see any signalers pledge to avoid Uber Eats or Door Dash today. That kind of support is for little people who pay taxes.

even in Colorado, schools will close when it gets below -20 or so degrees during the day ... though apparently, they’re just protesting the extreme cold ...
