MINNEAPOLIS — Even with a below-freezing forecast through the end of the week, several residents and business owners said they are planning to turn out Friday for an “ICE Out” day of protest in the city.
Organizers are calling for no work, no school and no shopping, and some businesses said they would close their doors as part of the civil action.

It also gives reasonable human beings a clear signal as to which businesses to avoid like the plague in the future.
It also means better parking for people who want to patronize businesses who choose to boycott the boycott. Win!

What I don’t get is why would a business advertise they agree with lawlessness and close for a day. Were any of them pressured to do so? Minnesota is heavily democrat state, but why piss off 45% of customers that are republicans?
Businesses don’t close for protests and boycotts. Just silly. If you own a business to make political statements, you likely are not business at all. Just somebody that has some stuff.
