Volodymyr Zelenskyy dropped a barrage of truth bombs on his European allies about their collective failure to stand up to Russian President Vladimir Putin and be respected by his US counterpart, Donald Trump.
Invoking the spectacle of Bill Murray's classic comedy, Groundhog Day, at a speech in Davos, the Ukrainian president said the UK and Europe are stuck in a doom loop, repeating rhetoric about what needs to be done - without taking the action required to make things change.
This, he said, meant they were left scrambling to respond to world events instead of standing united as a great power with the ability to shape their collective destiny.

There is no violin small enough to express properly the emotions for this heinous grifter.
Bill Murray said it all in 1984 in Ghostbusters and it applies to every Zelinsky action:
“He slimed me”.
I’m just guessing but I think a lot of those dead Ukrainian young men, many of whose parents, family members and friends are and were Russian (20% of Ukraine) would rather be Russian than dead.
Absolutely...I think the 20% is waaaaay low...as far as Heritage. Remember, “Z” was Russian born....and all his shows were in the Russian language.
This is really about Z and his corrupticrats keeping power and their stolen money. What Z needs is a visit from a Russian cruise missile. He’s had his shot at Swiss asylum with his billion dollar scam money. Now its time for him to become unalive.
Sounds like the EU is better at making promises than they are at following through
The EU is all talk, no action. President Trump is all talk and action to back it up. The end.
“When I went back into Russia a year later in 2025, there was a very noticeable increase in BYD cars. It was crazy, they were everywhere.”
I gather (possibly incorrectly that) the EU may be subsidizing Russian EV purchases.
Translation: according to Zelensky, Ukraine is entitled to an open spigot of financial and military aid for Europe and the US indefinitely, whether the western nations like it or not. He also believes that Europe and the US need to do the future fighting for Ukraine, by stationing a permanent "peacekeeper" presence there.
What Zelensky fails to explain is what makes him and his country so special as to be entitled to this royal treatment from the rest of the world, and why Ukraine's plight is so much more important and deserving than that of many other war-torn countries.
