A revolutionary socialist mob, with the blessing of government leaders, storms a church on behalf of criminals. To a casual student of history, the parallels of America today, to the first 10 years of the USSR, are simply astounding. To economics, to criminals being elevated, to mass domestic surveillance, to government whipped up mobs on demand, to the destruction of everything associated with the old order, to art, literature and film, to sexual weirdness, to women being encouraged to follow male pursuits and avoid marriage.
There are also many associations with the 3rd Reich. The oddball mysticism, the absolute orgy of body worship and health cults, and more.
People either love him or think Trump is a dingbat. But anyone with a sense of history knows that combining this culture with an economic collapse leads to far worse things.
