System button shows nothing recognizable to language. The chart on System is (excuse spelling): Lumineux Paaire D' Eciuteeus Sous-Titres Aarros Differe (this looks to be 30 minute timers) Jeux Accessibilite Tous Les Parameters Aider Clock
I was originally hunting how to update software so when watching a tv show it would automatically air the next episode.

Every time we fly to Canada and the stewardess playback tells us to buckle-up, etc in English, then the same thing in French, I always ask my wife to learn how talk dirty to me in French.

Get Google Translate on your phone and point it at the TV
Follow the button positions and icons more than the words:
1. Press the Menu or Settings (gear icon) button on the Vizio remote.
2. Use the arrow keys to move to the menu option with a gear icon (often “System” or “Settings”) and press OK/Enter.[techsolutions.support]
3. In that list, go down a few items until you find the entry that currently shows “Français” or a list of languages, then press OK. This is the language menu.[youtube +1]
4. Use left/right or up/down arrows to change “Français” to “English” and press OK to confirm. The menus should immediately switch to English.[youtube +1]
5. Press Exit or Back to leave the menu.[vizio]
If that TV was smart, it wouldn’t be speaking French. LOL
It’s like those French have a different word for everything.

And a lot of them are backwards. It’s maddening.

That’s why learning French is pretty much pointless, you’ll never understand what they are saying. I can read it, but understanding spoken French is not to impossible.

Yes, I am hitting the gear button but there is nothing in French on the setting button menu that looks remotely like a language.
