With Minneapolis, Minnesota, remaining Ground Zero for anti-ICE attacks in the wake of the killing of leftist activist Renee Good by an ICE officer last week, there are now reports that up to 70 city police officers are now seeking paid leave as morale is said to be at an “all-time low.”
“We’re hearing from multiple sources that dozens of Minneapolis police officers (60-70 so far) have turned in paperwork for Minnesota’s new paid leave program,” reports Liz Collin of Alpha News.

Legal analyst Phil Holloway, co-host of Megyn Kelly’s “MKTrueCrime,” indicated the police union “is fed up with the dangerous inflammatory rhetoric spewing forth from Mayor [Jacob] Frey, [Gov. Tim] Walz and the rest of their ilk.
“These men and women understand that fomenting civil unrest is more than just stupid, it puts their lives at risk.”

They have to be feeling emasculated. They can’t help ICE against a bunch of women attackers, and that includes the men
If they do anything substantial even if they were allowed, they’d be in huge trouble.
There was a similar incident in San Antonio reported on yesterday. Eight LEOs surrounded the car. They aimed their weapons at the driver who got out and got carted off to jail, his car impounded
The LEOs have support, if not from the liberal ass mayor, the Governor, the AG, the SA chief of police
Minneapolis cops? On their own They cannot help. Why go to work?
Can’t blame them one bit. It may be an ICE officer today but it will be another LEO tomorrow that the left is changing “Save a life, kill and ICE” about.
Gotta figure not all their cops are on the Somali payroll.

What will keep the Minnesota’s paid leave program free of fraud?
I’m certain that the decent LEO’s in the Minneapolis PD are either trying to wait it out to retirement or seeking employment elsewhere.
Expect more and more cases of the "Blue Flu".
It's okay though - the city can hire Somalis to police themselves. Add in a some illegal aliens also.
It’s never easy being a policeman, but how much harder when your bosses have repudiated public safety as a matter of ideological purity.

After what they did to Derek Chauvin I am astounded why there would be a single person on the police force. Soon enough it will be all Somalis who rotate 20 week paid vacations.

I can. How can anyone with any self respect, dignity and sense of honor serve in such a useless agency in such a filthy, corrupt city.
When you’ve got 20 yrs invested, a wife, two kids, a dog and a cat, a minivan and a mortgage, you hope to ride it out to retirement.
Despite all that, several from MSPD have found their way down south - even the 18-20 year vets - to get away from the chaos.

I get it. What the filthy politicians did to the cops in the Floyd incident should have been the last straw. But the way I look at it is if one wanfs a career in law enforcement, be a little more discerning in which jurisdiction one selects.
