Yes! There is a huge portion of our population that has average IQ’s in the 80’s. Imagine if a nuke went off— they wouldn’t be able to see the radiation, and so they would live their lives like normal, ignoring any precautions. Then they would be surprised as they quickly unraveled their dna. People who can’t make good decisions or prepare for the future don’t do well under stressful, emergency situations. One disaster thins the herd pretty quickly.
