Exactly. Be glad you had the one hit. You never know when a movie, such as “Guardians of the Galaxy,” will pick up your song and make you #1 again. Think Redbone’s “Come Get Your Love.”
BTW, around 1975 was in Hollywood with my band. Our mgr got us tickets to a “press party” for a new group, “Ace,” just out with a hit single, “How Long (has this been goin’ on)”. Long story short, I saw first hand why they were a one-hit wonder. They were terrible.
He’s had at least two hits - Together Forever was also big.
