In a press conference on Thursday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that ICE agents had been followed "all day" and "harassed" by agitators leading up to the fatal shooting of a woman in Minneapolis who had attempted to run over an ICE agent.
Noem said that officers had been attempting "to get a car stuck out of the snow when they were surrounded and assaulted and blocked in by protestors that were inciting." She later added that the agent who fired "is an experienced officer who followed his training, and we will continue to let the investigation unfold into the individual and continue to follow the procedures and policies that happen in these use-of-force cases."
"But let’s remember the events that surrounded what happened yesterday on that tragic situation was that these individuals had followed our officers all day, had harassed them, had blocked them in. They were impeding our law enforcement operations, which is against the law, and when they demanded and commanded her to get out of her vehicle several times, she did not." She added that this was an "act of domestic terrorism."
Noem said during the press conference that the officer involved was treated at the hospital after being "hit by the vehicle" and has since been released. He is now "spending time with his family." She said that the officer is "experienced" and has served "a number of years, and we recognize that he acted according to his training."
Noem said in response to Democrat officials who have spoken out against the shooting, "Those comments are why we’re standing where we are today. That kind of language and that kind of provocative talk inciting people to take action and perpetuate violence in some cases is unacceptable, and especially of elected leaders."
When asked about reports that federal authorities had "cut out" Minnesota officials from the investigation into the fatal shooting, Noem said, "I’d like to know where they’ve been and why they’re not out on the streets investigating all of these people that are harassing and inciting violence on law enforcement officers right now. They’re allowing the situation to be volatile. They’re not doing their work. They haven’t for years." She later added that Minnesota is a "trainwreck" and "corrupt." She clarified that state authorities "have not been cut out, they don’t have any jurisdiction in this investigation."
She said in response to another question regarding her use of domestic terrorism to describe the incident, "This vehicle was used to hit this officer. It was used as a weapon, and the officer feels as though his life was in jeopardy. It was used to perpetuate a violent act that this officer took action to protect himself and protect his fellow law enforcement officers. So we'll let this continue to go forward and follow the same policies and procedures that every use-of-force situation does. But we've had almost over 100 times that these vehicles have been used to ram law enforcement officers and to do damage and to harm them. When you take an action and use a weapon to harm someone and to incite violence against them and try to cause them injury or death, then it needs to be labeled exactly what it was."

Until it gets uncomfortable enough they will keep it up. Drawn a line , stick to it. If you witness armed aggression. Respond in kind with extreme prejudice. Dust a few, may be they’ll get the hint.
We have drawn the line when we voted for Trump the problem is they are too retarded to figure it out.
I can’t believe I watch them stand there and just get pepper sprayed. They must be immune to it by now. Only a retarded person just stands there and lets someone pepper spray them. The only thing they are not immune to are bullets. If one of them dies? So what their family receive millions on gofundme. So they are so retarded they will now let their family die for the cause and benefit from it. Just wait, this will happen again.
Paid protesters.
ARREST THEM WHEN 'PROTESTS' CROSS THE LINE BETWEEN LEGAL AND ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. No drama - just arrest. Then investigate to see if these people are paid a salary for stopping law enforcement from operating. Hand that information over to FoxNews. Bring action against companies hiring dupes to break the law.
Issue Batons to all agents and encourage their use.
Start busting heads.
The leftwingers who brainwashed her into this are sitting at home safe as they can be while she is sent out hoping she gets herself killed so they’ll have talking points to lie about.
I went to an ICE protest and all I got was a holey t-shirt.
Put Minneapolis under martial law. Federalize Minnesota. Arrest and permanently remove from office , both Frey and Walz. Charge with conspiracy under RICO.
Why would any normal person want criminals in their midst. They’re laughing at you...you bunch of dumb a****.
Those wars are not won by appeals to logic and reason alone, those wars turn on emotion; nothing stirs emotion like images.
Every ICE officer should be equipped with a body camera so that the actual physical assaults of the protesters can be recorded and played over the Internet to the nation.
Not just played for the nation, but introduced in evidence to further prosecution of felonies for obstructing, intimidating agents in the course of their duties, contrary to federal statute. These infractions should result in immediate arrest and serious prosecution in federal courts.
Imagine the effect on the propaganda war being waged over the shooting incident in Minnesota if the threatened officer had been photographing the onrushing threat of the car with a body cam?
80 years ago Director John Ford took a crew to film combat in World War II with great effect on morale at home. Every ICE action should be accompanied by a film crew to capture not just the individual atrocities committed by the protesters recorded on body cams but also revealing the sheer mass that threatens our officers.
These are minimal steps that should be taken to win the hearts and minds of those who will respond to reason but more readily to visual images.
Also see my tagline.
“IceWatch” is being investigated and should be outlawed.
I find it difficult to believe that ICE doesn’t have body cameras.

Her wife called her there to do exactly what she did and videoed it.
Part of me wants this case to be decided that she had a right to speed toward the officer because she felt threatened. Then all of us would be able to crash through a crowd of protesters that surround our car.
It burns me to think what I would do if a bunch of scum in black bloc surrounded my car and started beating on it and damaging it.
EC
They were blocking the streets like that woman who was killed was doing. Eventually, it would create some incident and they could blame ICE. That Good woman didn’t seem to have a job and was probably hired to interfere with ICE.
Indeed the doper Minneapolis protesters to lazy to get a job thay have nothing to do but hassle the law enforcers.
Media approved
I was just going to say spike the tires. I am sure ICE will be adapting tactics.
