You would think Minneapolis's leaders would do all they could to try to salvage their city's riot-prone image in the wake of the George Floyd debacle. But you'd be wrong.
Here's the latest idiocy coming out of what looks like a sad situation for a leftist woman lacking reasonable judgment around police operations, according to the New York Times:
A federal officer shot and killed a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis during an immigration enforcement operation Wednesday, as the Trump administration intensified a crackdown on illegal immigration. Details of the shooting remained unclear, with conflicting accounts from local and federal officials.
Tricia McLaughlin, a Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman, said in a statement that an agent had opened fire after a woman “weaponized her vehicle” in an attempt to kill federal officers. Mayor Jacob Frey called her account “bull----” in a news conference, describing the shooting instead as “an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed.”
Well, no, it was not bee ess, and anyone looking at the videos on X can clearly see that it looked like a protester ramming ICE agents in the course of their duties, using her car as a weapon, and an agent or agents firing back through the windshield, which can only be done from the front. To any reasonable observer, that's self-defense, even as it led to an unfortunate ending for the leftist.

The ICE Agent was clearly in front of the car. She used her car as a weapon. Case closed and one less terrorist.

The ICE officers from the truck went to her driver side door and the officers on the side of the road can be seen moving between her vehicle and the white vehicle. One got in front of her vehicle and one got behind her vehicle blocking her from escaping arrest. When she took off, it was the ICE officer from the white vehicle, and who was standing in front, that fired the shots.
She should have been shot! If an officer asked you to stop ,you better stop. How stupid are these people. These leftist are a major problem.

And the left got the “George Floyd 2.0” that they wanted. Not a black person, but at least a gay woman. Just in time to exploit for the 2026 elections.

From the video footage run on MSnow, it appears that the fatal shot was fired through the windshield when the car was directed toward the officer who fired. But the descriptors on Morning Joe repeatedly denied this. I have not seen the other video that you describe which seems to me would be decisive. Do you have a link?
We've got to get ahead of this before we have another George Floyd. Often first off the mark wins the debate over the truth.
Good point. Look, this heifer decided to be a human shield for Somali looters, and thought being white would protect her. Turns out, white people get shot too, which really spoils their cultist legends about white people getting better treatment.
If no body cameras were on that is a problem.....and raises many questions.
If they were in the middle of raid operations I don't understand why they wouldn't have them on. For their own protection as much as anything else.
