I wouldn’t consider dislike for Trump to be a defining factor in ‘leftism’.

As much as many of us like him, Trump can be polarizing. I think there are lots of people who are Conservative in terms of political philosophy but simply dislike Trump or the way he goes about things.

It’s entirely possible to agree with someone on matters of politics, philosophy of life, religion, whatever ... and still find that person highly disagreeable.

Feminist propaganda to the contrary notwithstanding, the personal is NOT the political ... and making the political personal is antithetical to a republican form of government and to a peaceable society.

Charlie Kirk tried to depersonalize the political; to get people talking to each other instead of talking at each other. For this abominable sin, he was assassinated.
