BUT, if you are the illegal invader paying with an EBT card (FKA food stamps), $25 a pound for a bone-in ribeye is no big deal.

Correct! If EBT holder gets $600 in free food stamps, $60 for a steak is no problem. It’s free to get paid by hard working tax payers who get no EBT card. If you work you pay for it. If you don’t work in a job, you get it free. What a system!!!

Why wouldn’t a high price for food be more of a concern for someone poor enough for EBT?

It isn’t very smart to blow your 4 week food budget in 2 weeks, if you are poor.
