A recent video by conservative YouTuber Nick Shirley alleged nearly a dozen day care centers in Minnesota that are receiving public funds are not actually providing any service. After the video went viral, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced a "massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud" in the state.
CBS News conducted its own analysis of nearly a dozen day care centers mentioned by Shirley: all but two have active licenses, according to state records, and all active locations were visited by state regulators within the last six months. CBS News' review also found dozens of citations related to safety, cleanliness, equipment, and staff training, among other violations, but there was no recorded evidence of fraud.

There’s two sets of books in these situations. One for the public....and then the real showing where the money is.
Attention MAGA billionaires — Shirley would be able to do much more if he commanded a staff of investigstors who were just as fanatical.
SeeBS pulling the Somali’s chestnuts out of the fire, huh?
Why is everyone piling on CBS ? Yet to make a claim specifically, CBS implies state investigators are cheats.
They’ve studied reports of state investigators and found those reports don’t match what we’re seeing. That is all.
They have yet to visit sites to see for themselves and confirm Shirley’s work.
That will be next if the new CBS regime is to make a difference.
CBS probably sent their crack “60 Minutes” team there for the inspections. All they had to do is stop in nearby bars to interview patrons for the real facts.
“and all active locations were visited by state regulators within the last six months.”
Dear CBS,
1. The plural “regulators” could apply to the whole, as in in multiple one-person visits. Which is it?
2. Were these “regulators” state employees, or contractors who might have even less incentive to conduct thorough audits?
3. Were the visits announced, or unannounced?
60 Minutes wouldn’t need to do that. They bring their own “facts”!
Dan in Wichita posted: “CBS investigated but there was no recorded evidence of fraud.”
Well, jiminy cricket.....was CBS expecting the thieving Somalis
to record and document the fraud which was making them millions?
Did CBS do any journo digging beyond what they were being “told” by the day care centers?
Ah but CBS didn’t visit any centers
All they did was analyze the information put out by the state

Getting a license is pretty easy if you make “donations” to the right people.

Of course the fraudsters are suddenly busing in kids for the sycophant media shills. Nothing to see here …no fraud here…move along citizen the Walz administration has this covered.
Now we know why Harris picked Walz for VP.
They had to COVER UP what is coming to light now before the entire nation.
