I don’t rule that out. Some autistic people have extreme technical skills (not that building a pipe even requires extreme technical skill, by most definitions), and it’s known that he can drive (and presumably lay a box on the ground).

But I do think it’s very unlikely that an autistic person could maintain a fabricated story, planted in their heads, under extreme scrutiny, which he’ll no doubt undergo. I don’t see those two possibilities as contradictory in the least. OOoookay?
