The United States has declared it is ready to take part in postwar security guarantees for Ukraine, including the possible deployment of American troops once a peace deal with Russia is reached, Donald Tusk, Poland’s prime minister, has said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not confirm Tusk’s comments, telling journalists on Tuesday: “These are the troops of the United States, and only the U.S. makes such decisions.”

If we send in “peacekeeping” troops they will still be there 50 years from now. Unless WW3 happens first.

What does Donald Trump say? (August)

Today:

Z says Trump is considering it.

I think POTUS is lying to Z. Because MAGA would support his impeachment over it.

Tusk is a joke. We learned that when he fired the host of “Jeopardy!” for being a pro-life Catholic when Mr. Tusk’s globalist leftists opposed him and his agenda.

Lol, you seem to be not aware that there are currently US peacekeeping troops in Estonia and Latvia, adjacent to Russia.

It is true that both European and American elites both embrace neo pagan, hedonistic decadence. Both control the media, academia, entertainment and critical silicon based industries. In Europe their power is codified within the EU. In America thanks to our Bill of Rights and Constitution, the elites have great power and influence but at least for now as evidenced by the last election, the American people when united around common , decent values are capable of resisting and asserting themselves.

There lies the problems for America’s future. As long as we are a united country as Lincoln said, no foreign power could as much take a drink of water from the Ohio river unless they were invited to do so by the people. If Americans share a consensus of decently held common values, almost irrespective of the readiness of the armed forces, no foreign country could ever hope to conquer us or impose their yoke upon us. Lincoln warned that could only happen if we lacked that unity. Sadly that unifying consensus no longer exists in America. Military spending and foreign entanglements will not make us secure. The stark difference in values that separate contemporary Democrats from Republicans allows no real consensus.

The Constitution has offered us protection from bald-faced attempts to arrest political opponents of the elite for "wrongthink" as now regularly happens in Europe, but even that is hanging on by a thread with the pernicious spread of the notion of "hate crimes."

The "Biden" regime showed how easy it was for the Deep State to embed personnel in social media companies to use big corporations to suppress political speech, and when combined with pressure on banks to debank political opponents and the abuse of tax and prosecutorial discretions, shows how close we were getting to a fascist one-party state.

And should the Dems win all three branches again, all of those will immediately be back on the table, along with court packing, which would inevitably give us European-style suppression of free speech.

The whole point of a Constitution is to prevent that from happening at all: so this means the Constitution really isn't working-- it's on life support.

Staying involved in Europe and turning its politics around back to what they once were would help a lot to deligitimize similar attempts here.

And while I agree the "crisis of a house divided" is by far the biggest problem the US faces, that doesn't mean that external enemies are somehow respecting a timeout while we fight internal battles.

There isn't any MAGA without Trump, because there's no other politician with his standing to take his place.

So what you're really saying is you'd rather see the US destroyed by the Democrats as long as Ukraine is defeated.

LOL

I didn’t vote for this. Trump’s nuts if he gets us involved in this Eastern European blood feud.

Tusk is a lying sack of crap who is fully committed to destroy President Trump by any means necessary.

He is an enemy of America and should be treated as such.
