New Agers used to leave crystals, money and food offerings up on top of a mound at a park, sometimes they would even set up a tent and a shrine with an alter.
Used to have to chase them off of it whenever storms came up so they wouldn’t get electrocuted. Lightning hit that mound almost every storm.
