The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched the LVM-3 M6 mission from Sriharikota. The commentary describes a 'majestic lift-off' as the rocket, carrying the BlueBird Block-2 satellite (referred to as 'Bluebird Lock-2' in the transcript), seared through the sky. Technical updates confirmed that 'both S-200 motors ignited' and performed normally, with each motor generating '5952 kN' of thrust. The mission, marking a significant commercial milestone, saw the successful separation of the S-200 boosters and the payload fairing. The transcript also notes the initiation of the 'Cryo stage' and the use of 'close loop guidance' to ensure the rocket's path.

AST Space Mobile is a Midland Texas based company.

They are the direct competitor to Starlink Direct2Cell technology.

This sat bird is the largest antenna in LEO by a large margin it can put down 4km or smaller spot beams with gigabit level spectrum in the S,C,and L bands the same ones regular smartphones use.

Broadband 5G to ordinary smartphones everywhere all the time. As in 200+ Mbps anywhere on earth it fundamentally changes the way the internet works. AI drones airborne, landbased or seabased all will have simple 5G mass produced cheap modems on them the actual size of the radios in a smartphone are 3” by 3” or smaller and weight a fee tens of grams. Most of the weight in your phone is the battery and screen. Cars also will have access via their existing 4&5G modems like Onstar on steroids with global access.

They also are going right to AT&T Firstnet for LEO, fire, DHS and every other alphabet agency to have priority access everywhere all the time regardless of terrestrial network status or traffic levels.
