Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is facing intense backlash for making racially-charged comments about Hispanic Americans serving with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Bass, a Democrat, was speaking with CNN’s “The Situation Room” on a recent network feature that profiled Border Patrol and ICE agents training to work along the southern border. CNN noted that a large percentage of recruits were of Hispanic heritage and at one point asked whether they had any reservations about apprehending their “own kind.”
“They didn’t come in the right way so they aren’t my kind,” one recruit said without hesitation. Border Patrol Agent Claudio Herrera echoed this sentiment in the same segment, saying, “I’m not going after my own kind because my own kind will do it legally.”
When asked about the segment by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Mayor Bass said she found it “sad.”
“I think that those Border Patrol agents are going to have a difficult time when they’re out in the field and they see what actually happens in real life, separate from their training,” she added.
The mayor went on to claim that Hispanic Americans — many of whom live in areas among the most impacted by illegal immigration — are only joining federal immigration agencies because they are desperate for cash.
“I do understand that their primary incentive is financial,” Bass said. “I think it just speaks to the financial situation that millions of Americans find themselves in,” she added.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said applications have risen 70 percent compared with a year ago, according to a report from Newsmax. The surge comes as the Trump Administration has increased incentives to attract more applicants for border security goals.
According to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, more than half of Border Patrol agents are Hispanic.

My SIL was married and had two boys with a man from Peru. That family considered itself Castilian and did not like the other terms used, including Spanish or Peruvian. There’s lots of racism defining everything from partial indigenous to, like I said Castilian. They pretty much all hate each other.

Was a blindingly White city back then, the largest concentration of White people on Earth:
2,660,042 White residents
75,209 Black residents
5,330 Chinese residents
1,378 Indian residents (feather, not dot)
36,866 Japanese residents
6,818 individuals categorized as “Others”
IOW Black people were < 2.6% of the population.
Everyone else except the Japanese were in the <1% cohort.
So LA was about 95% White...although “hispanics” were then counted as White, which most were, a classification that they had fought for in the 1930s. It was one of the first things that LULAC did.
So that was the city that Cuban Communist Wannabe Karen Bass grew up in...and she hated all dem bad Whiteys for it.
But facts are a hard thing. She claims to be “mayor” based on laws created and passed by White people; struts around in buildings designed, built and paid for by White people; drives on streets with the same history; gets paid in currency that was our creation.
So why is she there? Because she’s a parasite, only able to stamp her feet and demand that other people give up what they built and she can’t.
Parasites are normally removed from the host for the health of the host.
That should be her fate.

I've met Puerto Rican males black as the ace of spades, females white as a Norwegian, and male as well as female albinos looking like photo negatives of black people. With very strange accents when they try to speak English. And nobody talks Spanish faster than they do.
