It's a balance to remain an impartial/unbiased interviewer, but still manage the interview with probing questions. What little I saw, I thought Hunter was glad to get have the platform. He is narcissistic and controlled the interview. He used Shawn's show to legitimize himself.
I miss Rush.
I turned it off after 30 minutes. When Hunter was going on and on about contentious politics Ryan asked him about the right being called fascists all the time. Hunter responded “if you do t want to be called a fascist, don’t act like one.” Ryan let him get away with that, and that’s when I tuned out
“He used Shawn’s show to legitimize himself.”
That may have been Hunter’s goal—but it is on you the listener if Hunter is successful.
I did not listen to that interview because Hunter is a coke-head clown and a corrupt bag man for the Biden crime family—and I have no interest in what Hunter had to say.
I would never have chosen to interview Hunter.
But—that said—I support free speech and I am not going to be a hypocrite and attack Shawn for interviewing someone I do not like.
