PHOTOS — DHS: Two Illegal Aliens Accused of Trying Hit ICE Officers with Van in Maryland

Two illegal aliens are accused of targeting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents with a van on Wednesday in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said ICE officers were conducting an immigration enforcement operation in the area when the incident happened.

“Agents positively identified the driver of a van as Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, an illegal alien from Portugal. In the passenger seat was Solomon Antonio Serrano-Esquivel, an illegal alien from El Salvador,” the agency’s social media post read.

Authorities said the officers approached the vehicle and told Sousa-Martins to switch off the engine. However, he allegedly refused to obey and tried to flee the scene. He is also accused of ramming his vehicle into ICE vehicles at the scene.

“He then drove his van directly at ICE officers, attempting to run them over. Fearing for their lives and public safety, the ICE officers defensively fired their service weapons, striking the driver. Sousa-Martins then wrecked his van between two buildings, injuring the passenger,” the agency said.

Images show the van with its front crumpled against a tree:

Another crazy portagee trying to murder ICE officials. This was their “due process” of choice. Now catch the bass turds and deport their goatsmellin’, nasty butts back to the sewers they floated out of. These pigs are not Americans. It’s time for their asses to go.

Once a new Dem administration is in place in DC, it will be open season on ICE agents.

“I would kill to live in America” is perhaps an understandable sentiment but it is not meant to be a plan of action.

Send them to Ethiopia, Somalia or to Liberia.

I wonder if it’s possible that these two beauties were working for Paula Xinis, the Greek Hobbit Judgette’s boy, The Abrego Kid.

Portuguese in the news again... interesting. Mara Salvatrucha gang has some past Portugal connections :

Portuguese gangster in high-profile drugs trial, The Resident, https://www.portugalresident.com/
September 4, 2014

As heavily- tattooed Hermano Moreno is due to go on trial charged with drug trafficking, police in Portugal are reported to be on the alert for a national cell of the notorious Mara Salvatrucha crime gang – flagged for murders and extortion on an international level.

One of the “most dangerous in the world”, Mara Salvatrucha is made up of more than 70,000 men, women and even enforced children, the majority of which work in central America.

Drug trafficking is the gang’s core business and it is this that put Hermano Moreno in the police spotlight.
The 31-year-old from Amadora is alleged to have been in the process of smuggling 22 kg of cocaine – a total of 54,000 doses – into the country.

He was “surprised” by PJ police in 2013 while offloading the drug into various cars at Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro airport, but managed to escape to Holland, from where he has finally been extradited to await trial in Maia.

Reporting on the case earlier today, Correio da Manhã says that Moreno is charged with the trafficking of narcotics.
CM adds that the authorities in Portugal are “on the alert for a cell” of the notorious drug gang, particularly after Spanish police rounded up 35 gang members in Spain earlier this year [2014].
The chances of a Portuguese cell are “strong”, adds CM, stressing that Hermano is being detained in custody because there is a “serious risk” that he would otherwise once again flee the country.
Profiling the Mara Salvatrucha, CM highlights particularly violent rituals that involve would-be gang members going into an “enemy neighbourhood” and shooting dead a rival.

Gang members are easily identified, as they tend to be heavily tattooed – with tattoos even on their faces.
The initials MS-13 are commonplace; the 13 standing for the number of seconds a would-be gang member has to endure violent beating in order to be initiated into the group.

Another characteristic of Mara Salvatrucha is that gang members are sworn to secrecy. They are meant to refuse even to answer questions in court. Thus, the upcoming trial in Maia is unlikely to hear much from Moreno’s defence.

The van didn’t just bump into the tree; the front and radiator is smashed back into the engine block.

This was a hard hit. Any agents struck would have been killed or gravely injured.

Well, it worked for Fabrizio . . . for a while. It might have gone better had he killed Michael Corleone rather than Apollonia.

In Maryland, using a gun is a worse crime that attempted murder of a police officer

T’was a good shoot by the ICE agents. Back in the 70’s and 80’s I served as a US Immigration Inspector. During a 14 week basic training course in Georgia, we had one shoot/don’t shoot training session, using a pistol loaded with plastic bullets, a projector and a sheet for a screen. High tech at the time. One of the scenarios was a guy on a loading dock getting in to the driver’s seat of a straight box truck, not obeying my orders to stop and be arrested. My position was directly in front of the truck. When the truck started forward, I fired my plastic bullet through the windshield into the driver. The projector stopped when I fired the round.

The instructor said “You should not have shot him,” restarted the projector, and the driver stopped the truck, jumped out and ran. I looked at the instructor and told him, “That didn’t happen. He died in the truck.”

In another scenario a bad guy took a woman hostage in a park. As he dragged her away, he would pause and fire rounds at me. All I could do was flinch and watch. Eventually she broke free and began running away from the bad guy, who was now focused on shooting me. When she was about 8 feet away from him, I shot him.

The instructor stopped the projector and said I should not have fired at him. I asked why. He said that most officers hit the hostage, not the bad guy. I told him that is not what happened here, as he verified I shot the bad guy, not the hostage. In both cases I still got points docked for shooting. So be it. The ICE agents did the right thing.

Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins

He'd better get "federal" charges against him, otherwise he will be running free, spending my tax dollars by the middle of next week...

Some Pb administered to the heads of these cretins may reduce the level of attempted murder by the invaders.

I may have seen the story on leftist media but it was framed as “Trigger happy ICE Agents Ruin Christmas Spirit By Firing Guns at Unarmed Undocumented Immigrants Driving To Take Medicines to Sick Elderly Mother, Without Cause.”
