Australian Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett (above) has faced criticism for saying the Bondi Beach terrorist attack was “not motivated by religion”.
Commissioner Barrett had stated in the aftermath of the December 14 attack that the alleged terrorists were “inspired by Islamic State”.

I’ve heard this same yap from people much smarter than Krissy appears to be. I doubt that they “believe” it. They hope that refusing to let violent extremists define the true face of Islam through their misdeeds will convince “mainstream” Muslims to reject violent fundamentalism. Blame all Muslims for being terrorists and you’ll get what you projected. Krissy is denying terrorists “credit” for the same reason US law enforcement always concludes that assassins and transtifa shooters were loners acting on personal motives or mental illness. Hope, unfortunately, is not a strategy.
Everyone sees through the BS and it leaves the “authorities” with very little credibility. Some adherents of all religions are drawn to “fundamentalism” and what non-fundamentalists will view as extremism. If a country takes in a hundred thousand Muslims, SOME of them (especially the immigrant’s offspring who resent being outsiders to the secular society they were moved into and long for being part of an ideal Islamic community of their imagination) will ALWAYS end up radicalized, and some of those will be drawn to terrorism, because it’s a tradition and all they’ve got. It is about Religion, and Identity and Power. Real Islam requires being in power. Telling the non-Muslim population that they have nothing to fear is preposterous.

But Muslims actually take their religion seriously. Seriously enough to keep on killing us. We’re the ones refusing to take it seriously.

Saying that Islamic terrorists are terrorists not Muslims is like saying that Japanese soldiers are soldiers, not Japanese. Or that Marxist terrorists aren’t really Marxists. Or that the folks who quote the Koran and shout “Allahu Akbar” before killing a bunch of people aren’t really acting in the name of those religious principles...
Techniques used against irrational Muslim terrorists aren't working. It's time to do something different... Might be time to 'interview' a bunch of these people 'for a documentary' and exposing their middle ages insanity for what it is. Shutting them up with 'hate speech laws' is a mistake. Let them speak. Hint: barrels, children, blood flavored matzo.. etc. etc. etc. As they say, 'Give them enough rope to...." Another hint: it was two radio personalities who secured a KKK secret code book - and mocked them to powerlessness...
