This part of town constantly loses power.
trouble began shortly after midnight and was up and down until 9am, then back down and up around 10am.
Lectricty goes down a lot in summer and PGE blames excessive heat.
here it is typical California winter with temperature at a relatively balmy 58 degrees! /s
PGE is a classic
AI Data Centers will require the US to increase electricity generation by 50 percent in ten years. Failure to do this will result in massive shortages and skyrocketing prices.
PGE is a pathetic joke.
I can’t stand this side of town anyway.
I’ll be moving back to Gilroy end of next year anyway
Still PGE power but, lectric rarely goes down.
I’ll make sure the home has solar, Power Walls by Tesla and for emergency comms a satellite phone
I never owned that album despite around 2,000 LPs I had at that time. So a real slap at the group. Just didn’t appeal to me.
A cheap length of chain in the hands a notify DNC terrorist can wipe out an entire substation.
Enjoy your monsters, democrats.
PGE is saying more severe winds for this evening will cause wide spread outage.....
Oh really???
I’m thinking 10-20 MPH is not big deal

Kewel....
Agree. One talk radio person said Bill Gates hypocritically shifted quickly to abandoning his climate change stance because he is desperate to get enough energy to fuel his AI projects.
Said the near future will be citizens losing out to AI as there will be mandatory rules, rolling brownouts and blackouts and restrictions on non AI uses of electricity for all. But it still won’t be enough power for AI.
Scary not only for air conditioning needs in CA,AZ, NV and FL but also for keeping from freezing with loss of heat in the cold weather states.
Cannot understand.
Electric service is great in DC for Adumb Schifft and Alex Padilla...

Resting about Morgan Hill. On the peninsula, we rarely lose power. Gusts to 40 mph last night, too. Are you up in the hills on the road to Henry Coe?
Kewel= Cool.
I started noticing years ago when people said Cool as an affirmation it sounded phonetically like “Kewel”
Between Cochrane and Dunne, 1 mile west of 101
Here in Wyoming we are having trains derail from the winds, but in all the years I've lived here the electricity has never gone down more than a second or two. In my first location I was reliant on electricity for heating so I was always concerned about the risk of power loss during the winter, but it never happened. It's a remarkable difference from my experience in Illinois and Michigan.

What does an AI data center do, anyway? Run those unhelpful AI customer service bots? Make AI music videos?
I just asked an AI search engine that question. Here’s what I got: “AI data centers are specialized facilities designed to handle the high computational demands of artificial intelligence workloads.”
That wasn’t very helpful. Maybe this AI search engine is just trying to mock me.
And now we are back up....
Paying more for less reliable service. It’s the Democrats’ way.
