In what might have been shocking a decade ago, a Lutheran Church has produced a Christmas play featuring the two main characters as profane, cat-fighting lesbians on their way to Bethlehem.
As reported by Not the Bee, "Lutheran Church of the Cross is a 'queer-affirming' Canadian church that celebrates Pride Week and every other sexual behavior under the sun."

But I also have to remark that it’s typical liberal self-indulgent performative crap. the “director” should be shot; the characters just walk back and forth delivering their lines. The writer should be exiled. And could they have found two “actors” with more annoying voices!?!

They need to put "church" in scare quotes. That was appalling. Sure. They have the image of the cross, but in the context of that "church" what on earth does that mean?
Right out of the gate, in a "church" setting, one of them says "G** Damn"! And then, they are talking about getting pregnant the same way Mary did. Two fat, ugly, foul-mouthed, contentious lesbians doing a play about the virgin birth, and inserting themselves into it?
For those who don't know, the signal flags above signify "WTF".

Most of these older mainline “churches” have legacy members, older congregants who attend out of duty, tradition, force of habit, and familiarity. They notice that the rug has been pulled out from under them with leftists streaming in to take over, but can’t bring themselves to abandon ship, telling themselves that they are just too old to appreciate the change.
I’ve watched a lot of the meetings online during the UMC buildup to the mass exodus. The smaller churches were 85+% elderly seniors in the decimated congregations.
When these older members finally die off, these ‘churches’ will go away for lack of members. Very few younger members are joining. they have their queer bars to worship at their perverted altars after all.
