My mom has it and is a home at 85.
Her issue was she had/has high BP and literally never took her BP meds.
I keep my BP at 110/70, which is fine except when I stand up after a full meal, lol.
It’s a tough ride sometimes dealing with a parent with dementia. Mom was diagnosed at 85 and passed 2 years later. She got to the point where she didn’t recognize me. I was the only one of her 6 kids that she didn’t recognize. It sort of stung at first, but I had to remember it was the disease, not her. I wouldn’t trade my last few years with her for anything though. Those are special memories!
