I am in shock right now, and completely heartbroken for his family and friends. Unfortunately about an hour ago, news broke that Adam The Woo has passed away. I don't want to believe it, and it's so difficult to accept, but his father and several of his close friends have confirmed it, yet that's all the information that is available right now. I never got to meet Adam in person, but he was absolutely instrumental in my own personal youtube journey, and I always hoped one day to just have a conversation with him about the mechanics of youtube, and some of the craziness "behind the scenes". I honestly don't even know what to say or think right now, it's just so unreal. RIP Adam.

32 minutes and 55 seconds — and everyone should watch this!
I watched his vids sometimes. He had some interesting stuff. RIP
Ok, fill us in what’s good or bad about a town enjoying Christmas? Because that’s all I saw.
CC
Uh… yeah. He was.
Are you kidding? He was The Original influencer! He was an influencer before the internet even existed.
Are you being serious?
Rush most certainly WAS an influencer. They just weren’t called that yet when he was alive.
Never heard of him, then again I can’t be influenced and have no reason to watch anything by an influencer.
the thing about Adam was, he was literally one of the first Yourubers. He was a pioneer. He just filmed his travels and never asked for money. He didn’t have a patreon account like everyone today so that they can grift for money. He was a good guy.
Correct.
The virtue signaling of folks around here (”I don’t pay attention to those dumb and greedy influencers”) is hilarious.
Anyone who has started a small business knows the challenges they face—and respects anyone else who has done it.
You can respect someone without agreeing with them.
(I know that seems strange to some folks around here—but in the real world real people do it all the time.)
Adam the Woo did have a Patreon page, but later removed it:

good for him
Was Jesus an ‘influencer’?
Well, yes. In today’s world would He have had a YouTube channel?
To his credit, Adam figured out how to be successful and make money doing something 1000s of others are trying to do without much success. A unique man in that sense.
Yes, he started out when he was very young g. He loved making a show of his own
RIP Adam. I’ve followed you daily for many years.
