Can a school full of kids distribute nude images of a 13-year-old? AI or not, I think that’s child porn and I think it’s frowned upon. It seems odd that neither the school nor police cared.

Yes. Just like school counselors will not report rape when a 13 year old girl tells them she is pregnant.

The article explained that they didn’t have any proof that it even existed. The one thing I can say is there’s no way in hell 13 year olds ought to be having access to snapchat. If Snapchat can’t prevent that from happening, then the entire organization has to be treated like a criminal enterprising shut the hell down. There are no legitimate uses for snapchat, merely drug dealers, child pornographers, and crooked Secretary of State to want to become president.

Retired teacher here not a retired lawyer. As I understand it, possessing child porn is a crime if one is an adult, if a minor, maybe not so much.

When confiscating a kid’s phone, we were instructed to have him or her turn it off and under no circumstances to view its contents ourselves. If a girl has nude pictures of herself or has sent them to her friends, we are an adult viewing child porn. We’re the ones committing the crime, not the kids.

“It seems odd that neither the school nor police cared.”

‘The girls begged for help, first from a school guidance counselor and then from a sheriff’s deputy assigned to their school.’

You may be onto something here. In these times I wouldn’t rule out the deputy and counselor being involved. Lately the public schools have been overrun with perverts.
