Rob Reiner’s daughter, Romy Reiner, reportedly “lived in fear” of her older brother, Nick Reiner, before he allegedly killed their parents.
“It feels like Romy has been scared of Nick since she was a child,” an insider told the Daily Mail Sunday.
“Even before his drug addiction, his outbursts were frightening because they seemed to come out of nowhere. She tried to stay out of his way as much as she could but it wasn’t easy.”
The source alleged that Romy, who will be celebrating her 28th birthday on Dec. 27, “didn’t think it was a good idea” for Nick, 32, to be living in their parents’ guesthouse.
“She didn’t even like the idea of him living across the street from her,” the insider claimed, explaining that the internet personality lived next door to her dad, Rob, and mom, Michele Singer Reiner.
“But she knew they moved him in so they could keep a close eye on him and give him a roof over his head,” the source said.

I have a close friend who is a psychologist who treats drug addiction. He said exactly the same thing. He is also big time against marijuana use because it is a gateway drug into the hard stuff.
He does look like him now in a photo that showed he had gzined weight. He zctuslly looked auite a bit like rob in tbe face. It was posted on fr 2 days ago i think.

Yes. Marijuana has been shown to trigger schizophrenia or psychosis, most likely in those who have the genes for the disorders. It’s a classic case of genes interacting with environment.
Other drugs could have the same effect. Drugs physically alter the brain.

How does one tell the difference between demonic possession and mental illness.... at least for the mental illness cases where the person wants to kill someone? I’ve oft heard something similar with demonic possession.... the drugs open the door for the demons to waltz in.

Rob and Michelle were adults. They had more experience dealing with Nick than anyone else at the party. They could have gone to a hotel, phoned the police, then gone home with the police to arrest Nick.
Rob and Michelle were always in control of their actions. They chose to return home and go to bed.
