Rep. Thomas Massie's thread on J6 Pipe bomb case (New Info)
X / Massie / Congress ^ | Dec 12 | Rep. Thomas Massie

Posted on 12/15/2025 3:31:30 AM PST by RandFan

@RepThomasMassie

Last night I received a disclosure from a new FBI whistleblower regarding the J6 pipe bomb case.

This is the third disclosure I’ve received from current and former employees of the government regarding the pipe bomb case in recent weeks.

These brave moral people could lose their jobs and wreck their careers, but they care deeply for our country.

So at the risk of editorializing, I will summarize what I learned from this newest disclosure in order not to disclose the identity of this whistleblower.

The community where the suspect was arrested is populated with several employees of the FBI, Secret Service, and police. Many of them have observed the suspect on walks over the years.

He wanders around his neighborhood several times a day while walking a dog. Other than walking his dog, he doesn’t engage in any other activities outside his home.

He does not interact with anyone. He doesn’t wave or acknowledge others or even say hello. He does not even look at other people when he walks by. He appears to live in his own world.

He’s never been observed walking around in an angry or agitated state. His demeanor is detached and vacant.

He’s always worn headphones when walking around the neighborhood. It’s possible that he’s using headphones to drown out any surrounding noises. He doesn’t appear to be interested in anything or ever get interested in things that are happening around him.

His behavior is awkward. It’s obvious he has a mental disability, and likely lives in a permanently vulnerable, intellectual, and emotional state. It’s well known that individuals with mental conditions are susceptible to providing inaccurate and unwarranted “confessions.”

He does not drive his car very often.

Based on the observations of several neighbors, the suspect does not appear to have the mental acumen to plan, prepare, and execute a complex bombing plot by himself.

On November 13th, the FBI conducted a surveillance operation on the suspect’s street but the surveillance was easily identifiable to many in the area.

Not only were neighbors not evacuated during the arrest and search of the alleged bomber’s home, they were required to remain in their homes. If the suspect had in fact been engaged in making bombs and stockpiling bomb materials, the proper safety precautions were not taken.

My personal conclusion:

The FBI employee disclosing this information to me doesn’t believe the FBI has arrested a person who is capable or motivated, or even interested enough in affairs outside of his own small world, to execute the J6 pipe bomb plot on his own.

End of 🧵.

In order to make a bomb with a timer to set it off, you need an electrical timer that switches on after a delay. You also need a battery and an ignition device such as a blasting cap. Simple egg timers as shown in the pictures of the “pipe bombs” don’t show any of that. The egg timer simply “dings” a bell, and there is no visible battery or ignition source. It’s possible these might be enclosed in the pipe, but it would take considerable skill to make and package something like that without blowing yourself up first. The bare wires shown dangling around in the pictures would be extremely dangerous to carry around without inadvertently setting the bomb off early.

If these were working pipe bombs, it’s highly doubtful that a mentally challenged teenager could have made them.

Anyone can purchase from a list.

The cc signifies either of 2 possibilities: Patsy or incompetent, and certainly not someone smart enough to cover their tracks.

I’ve stated it prior: Father stands out here, but the question remains,

Did he have a handler?

Curious that such information would be omitted by a whistleblower...if that’s who’s pulling massie’s strings.

I do not believe any statement from current or former members of the FIB and CIA.

This man may/may not have planted the pipe bombs

This man is surrounded by other adults with special skills who wish to wreck the Republic....

I don’t believe the bombs timer was found to be functional.

“Technically they’re not lying but the card could have been procured or used in his name.”

Easy-peasy. I’ve had to change my card at least three times because someone used the number to charge things to it. And the card itself NEVER left my possession.

Based on what we have heard about the construction of the pipe bomb (which we should not necessarily trust), it seems likely that it was never intended to detonate.

In the aftermath of the J6 events, we were told it was an active explosive device that failed to detonate. But seriously, does a 60 minute kitchen timer with no electrical contacts that had expired hours earlier pose any threat?

IIRC, we were also told that the pipe bomb had been safely destroyed to eliminate the threat. Where is the paper trail from the FBI of events from discovery of the bomb, through all subsequent forensics to the purported final destruction?

This is no information other than “I don’t think he did it”.

What BS.

“Based on what we have heard about the construction of the pipe bomb...”

*************

That would be bombs (as in plural), neither of which worked. A failed design/construction that was evidently never tested. Either that or just planted for effect. Whatever, it was a brazen act that took some care and planning, which indicates some degree of foresight and intelligence (assuming this was the work of one person).

In other words, smart enough to evade detection (at least for a while) but not smart enough to make a functioning bomb. Curious.

“But the FBI says his credit card shows the purchase of the bomb making materials. “

I remember back in the day the ATF (may they burn in hell) could accuse you of bomb making materials for a piece of pipe? Whatever happened to the FBI girly they thought was the bomber? Crickets.

In Kash Patel’s own words “We got him!” OOPS no we don’t. NOW we do. (Really?)

I’m still going with the soccer chick/dude. You know the Capitol Police person who after the bomb incident got a new job at the CIA.

This seems like either 1) building a defense narrative; 2) preparing us for a new defendant; or, 3) building a hatchet job on Patel/Bongino, who are done if this case falls apart.

If the arrestee functions at the level of a 16 year old, worked as a DoorDash driver, and does data-entry for the family business, he would certainly be capable of making and dropping off bombs that didn’t even work. Autism is not necessarily consonant with low intelligence, just social avoidance and low connectivity (i.e., exactly what the article describes). Like DoorDash, dropping of the bombs was a solo delivery job requiring little human interaction. Buying the pipes, ditto. These things don’t require a criminal mindermast. Kids I knew 50+ years ago, whose names I can’t recall, made low quality gunpowder and pyrotechnics at around age 10.

That the arrestee was known as an oddball neighbor to multiple FBI, Secret Service, and other LE personnel is interesting and concerning. Someone easily led into making false confessions would also be an easy mark as a patsy. They need to be investigated for possibly selecting and operating the arrestee. What a mess.

From what I have read in the news the “explosive” consisted of “homemade black powder.” I’ve shot black powder guns for 25. I prefer to use Pyrodex. I have tried GOEX and “Swiss” brand black powders. I am not going to admit to anything so you will just have to take my word on it. Making functional black powder is definitely not a trivial exercise. At best it will make some smoke. I have zero doubt that the devices in question were never viable bombs.
