What BS.
There is no "allegedly" about it.
There is video of it.
Written correctly it would read .....
"Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, 50, opened fire on a Jewish Hanukkah event shortly before 7pm on Sunday, killing at least 15 innocent people and injuring a further 40."
Earlier today I watched the video of Ahmed al Ahmed graple with the shooter. He looked as if there was no danger whatsoever as he lunged at the shooter and wrestled the gun from his hand. The shooter unfortunately moved away and I was wishing the police got him then but thankfully they did get him.
Ahmed al Ahmed was incredibly brave and made it look as if there was no danger to him but he easily could’ve been killed. He saved lives that’s for sure.
The news media always say “allegedly” about any criminal act. They do this until someone is convicted in a court of law of the criminal act.
I don’t know if they do this for legal reasons, or why this is the case. But to the media, everything that happens is alleged, until someone is convicted.
I don’t care. Ahmed must also be deported. Deport all of them.
The video shows that the Dad shooter disarmed by the hero then walked to the pedestrian bridge—where his son was shooting people—got another rifle or shotgun and started shooting at people again.
Why didn’t the hero shoot maniac Dad, then maniac son?
That would have been heroic.
>Stop being so American
Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, 50, opened fire on a Jewish Hanukkah event shortly before 7pm on Sunday, killing at least 15 innocent people and injuring a further 40.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Correct. And in any truly civilized country these two mass murderers would be found guilty and executed within three days of their apprehension. And no testimony regarding “motive” would be admissible at their trial because such testimony would be nothing more than sick theater.
Why didn’t the hero shoot maniac Dad, then maniac son?
The aussies are woke liberals like much of the rest of the anglosphere and europe.
the man would have been clapped in jail for firing and killing the muslim guy. then, once in jail he would have been killed by the muslims already in the pokey for going against their muslim brother.
There is video showing two people opening fire. The “allegedly” part is identifying them as someone named Naveed Akram and his father.
The hero is in the hospital with gunshot wounds....
He did shoot the dad. The dad got away. The son wasn’t where he was.
Am I supposed to be afraid to be American or something? Pretty dumb remark.
Other possibilities:
Gun was out of ammo or jammed
He didn’t know how to operate the gun
His natural aversion to killing took over once he thought the son was neutralized
He was overwhelmed with adrenaline and wasn’t thinking clearly
The hero, Ahmed al Ahmed - his name looks Arabic.
The use of the term “alleged” when describing someone who committed a crime, regardless of how damning the evidence is against them, stems from a concern that if news reports assign guilt with certainty, them the defendant could later argue that his conviction was the result of a jury prejudiced by his having already been convicted in the press.
Looks Arabic but someone around here posted that he was well known in the community to be a Maronite Christian. Don’t know if that’s true or just fog of war but was stated with high confidence.

yes. your options may be the more reasonable ones.
they just get dumber and dumber. just like here in the USA
“The hero, Ahmed al Ahmed - his name looks Arabic.”
He’s a syrian muslim
He is reported to be a Lebanese Christian.
