But, last I heard, he was really a sniper. Who seemed to work at cemeteries like Arlington. Huh?
Apparently, he was known to have extensive mental health problems.
Does the Army usually train crazy guys to be snipers? Is that typical?
He drove 17 hours from Wisconsin to do the shooting.
Except he lives in Washington DC which is a little closer.
I understand that immediate reporting after a tragic event can get messy and details can be confused. Mistakes happen. But this case just seems like the Masters are groping for a narrative that We The People will be willing to swallow. How did this guy find a classroom full of Jews? Why was he yelling in Arabic (or have they changed that little detail too?). I think the whole thing stinks.
Does he have a fury lover and a 30.06 stuck in his pants?
And yet the media is desperate to link him with MAGA and conservative causes. Guess this squashes that.

...Erickson, who is originally from Wisconsin, has lived in an apartment in Washington, DC, since 2024, with his voter registry showing a “statehood” party affiliation, according to public records.
He served as an infantryman in the US Army from May 2021 to November 2024, leaving the military with the rank of specialist, an Army rep told The Post.
During his service, Erickson trained with the Caisson Detachment of the US Army’s 3rd US Infantry Regiment, a source told CNN. He was stationed at Arlington National Cemetery, where he assisted with funerals and participated in “security duties,” according to his since-deleted LinkedIn that was seen by the outlet.
Erickson was decorated with a good conduct medal and successfully completed sniper training, the station reported.
But “X” said “He looks like MAGA.”
Apparently not the shooter.
The police just released him from custody.
There’s something out of kilter with this story.
They let him go. The legacy media is going to make him rich.
Is this the guy they just released as the wrong guy?
Two things:
1) What drew the shooter to that building/room? There has to be a motive.
2) By now who doesn’t know that cell phones can be tracked? If a perp brings a cell to a crime scene he wants to get caught. One word: Faraday bag
3) I wish Patel would shut up. He doesn’t have to appear at every crime scene.
Erickson has a pretty good defamation lawsuit against the officials who released his name.
