I still throw darts and I'll say it:

501, 301, and cricket are just stupid games.

Baseball - especially w/ variations like "3 to count, pull 2's" is far superior for me anyway.

In American darts, the blue is out of play, the skinny white is a 3, the red is a 2, and the interior white is a 1. I'll take turkey feathers over stupid plastic flights any day.

The first time I went to the UK I was stunned how gonzo they are over darts. I sat down one evening to watch a little telly and see what was on “prime time” British TV. I was expecting “Steptoe & Son” or “Are You Being Served?” or “The Avengers” but it was darts and snooker.

To this day I can’t qualify something as “a sport” if a fat guy with a beer in one hand can excel at it.
