How much will they pay me to watch that piece of crap?
I thought it looked like a parody of what a woman superhero movie would be.
And yet this is a real movie. Wow.
And it’s his own fault.
I for one don’t plan on seeing this flick.
Can’t wait for the Critical Drinker’s take on this one.

Will she have a sword? I mean, hero chicks always fly through the air and kill things with swords.
The legendary Drinker has already ripped it a well-deserved new one based on the trailer. And done so, as always, with thoughtful insight, sound reasoning, and flair!

America hating Hollywood still can’t say it. No sale.
Things have gotten so bad I wish guys like Drinker, Nedrotic and G&G would just stop even paying to go see this crap. I know they can’t since they need the content to make $$, but Hollywood isn’t getting any better. There were 2 movies that I have seen from 2025 that were even worth the $$ spent to get them. One of those I only say that because I have family in the field the movie was based on. I gave that movie more leeway than I would have.
Drinker did a vid on the trailer itself a couple days ago. It was a good indictment of the current movie industry in general.
I am well-versed in Supergirl’s history (pre-Crisis). This is NOT Supergirl. I hate that Warner does NOT respect the source material.
And Blondie? Really? If they are trying to reach people my age who were youths when Blondie was a thing, they should stick with the Otto Binder Supergirl, kitsch and all. If they want to make a grunge-era angst-ridden nihilistic Supergirl, maybe they should pull out the Nirvana or something.
I kinda like it. At least it is an actual girl.
Unless it’s She-Ra who wasn’t allowed to use a sword.
I remember that from JMS’s autobiography. He talked a lot about the inner workings of writing for cartoons.
