Im not giving up my pods or the organic cream and a touch of brown sugar I put in my two morning cups of coffee. God they try to suck the joy out of everything. 🙄

I still drink my coffee black, 2 or 3 cups each morning as I have for over 50 years. I buy cans of McDonalds McCafe Breakfast Blend ground coffee and brew it in my Bunn coffee maker. Excellent coffee.

Coffee is another one of those food products where every day there is a new study that contradicts other previous studies. One study concludes that coffee is bad for your health, yet another study has the opposite conclusion. We have been told for years that we should avoid saturated fats and switch to “healthy” oils like canola oil. Now the latest studies conclude these seed oils are bad for your heath. Butter was condemned as artery clogging and we should switch to unsaturated oil based margarines, now butter is considered a better alternative than margarine.

Our grandparents and great grandparents ate butter, eggs bacon and fatty meats, slathered their toast with homemade jam and drank prodigious amounts of coffee for breakfast most every morning yet, at least in my family, lived to ripe old age. I’ll just enjoy my morning cup of French press coffee and take my chances.

AI generated, probably generated by the tea growers of the world. Somewhat illuminating, but seems a bit of one sided paranoia. I mean , if all those pesticides and mycotoxins are found in coffee , what about all the other things we eat or drink....?

For the past two years I’ve been enjoying Peet’s French Roast whole bean coffee shipped directly from the roaster. They run good specials of 25% off and free shipping quite often enough that I can buy 3 lbs. and that gets me through to the next special.

I grind half a pound at a time in a Nutribullet Pro blender and keep it in a stainless steel airtight canister.

It is so awesome.

We drink Folgers Black Silk. But I only drink less than 1/2 cup a day, sometimes none for several days. My husband usually drinks 1 cup a day. When my son makes coffee, he makes it twice as strong as usual. We use an electric drip coffee maker, but I’m thinking of using a percolator. Anyone have any ideas as to which is better?

Meh- people are living to 80’s now, and many are coffee drinkers who never drank their coffee “correctly”... pours another cup of moldy coffee

I buy green beans and roast my own. I have a roaster that processes 1/2 pound at a time. The taste of real fresh roasted coffee is unbelievable! Makes most commercial coffee undrinkable. I have a source for beans from Kona so I can drink American coffee!
