I don’t know the song, but what you described sounds horrible.Personally, I didn't find the song itself that dreadful. I'd skip the video and just listen to the audio, the video is depressing and designed to shock. Yoko doesn't screech and scream, so her vocal contribution is tolerable. Saying that it's not awful is faint praise, so this isn't an endorsement. Only a total cynic like John Lennon would turn a Christmas song into a protest song.
