One way to prove you are a patriotic red-blooded American: buying a house in Qatar — according to Tucker Carlson.
The ex-Fox News star, during an appearance at the Doha Forum on Sunday, said he was going to buy real estate in the city on Monday.
Carlson referenced accusations he and his media company, the Tucker Carlson Network, have accepted big bucks from Qatari investors, while interviewing Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. He then announced his new purchase.
“I have been criticized as being a tool of Qatar, and I just want to say, which you already know, which is I have never taken anything from your country and don’t plan to,” Carlson said. “I am, however, tomorrow buying a place in Qatar.”
He continued, explaining “I like the city, I think it’s beautiful, but also to make a statement that I’m an American and a free man and I’ll be wherever I want to be.”
Carlson received a small round of applause from the crowd for his new property.
Beyond Carlson, the forum had an eclectic mix of speakers, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump Jr., and Bill Gates; reporters from CNN and Breitbart were also on the linup…

The US has had a strategic alliance with Qatar since at least 1996. This alliance has recently been elevated to a "Major Non-NATO Alliance" (MNNA)
Since 1996, Qatar has hosted (and largely built) our largest strategic military base in the Middle East (housing 10,000 service men and women). This base is a cornerstone of our posture in the Middle East.
The US military base in Qatar also holds the US CENTCOM headquarters.
When did Qatar become an enemy?
Did he then break out in his bizarre cackle-laugh?

Tucker was not defending Sharia Law, he was being ironic about what is happening (crime) in New York City.
As for his comments about Islam meaning submission to God (Allah). Allah is the Arabic name for God (with similar roots to Hebrew) that predates the rise of Islam by countless centuries. The name was hijacked by Islam.
And it is ridiculous for him to quote enthusiastic Muslim comments about Tucker as something Tucker believes. I never watch Tucker’s podcasts, but the last time I saw him speak was at Charlie Kirk’s funeral memorial and he hardly sounded like a Muslim.

Trump has enticed billions of dollars of investment into the United States by the “muzzards.” That is a nod to political and economic realities. Better here than in China.

I’ve been there in the Summer. It is intensely hot and humid in Summer. Much worse than my South Alabama home. Now the Qatar winters, I’m told, are nicely cool/warm and pleasant.
But I’d clear out around May 1st and not come back until Halloween...
