“resurrect a beloved brand and cripple it with a despised electric motor.”
It must be some kind of a sin.
Because there aren’t already too many look-alike, turd shaped SUVs ???
Why not call it the Chevy Crap cause that what it looks like and will be.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
November 2025 Sales Figures
Total Sales: 3,014 units
Year-over-Year Change: Decreased by nearly 50
Sales were pretty good but government subsidies ended in September 2025. There should NEVER be subsidies.
Because there aren’t already too many look-alike, turd shaped SUVs ???
Because they still believe they can shove EVs down our throats and really, really, really make us like it ???
I’ll hang on to my real ICE Camaro and watch GMC throw away more billions of dollars on this ill advised WOKE foolishness.
“Reuss has indicated he intends the Camaro to start at an affordable price point…”
If I had a dollar for every time I have heard or read a claim like this, I could afford a new Porsche.
They probably build one (1) poverty-spec car so that they can claim “starting at” prices. I swear, MBUSA would import one (1) Euro taxi poverty spec Benz for the same reason, to get you in the door.
It’s a tease. Meant to gauge public response....
Cannot see it being a product for Camaro afficionado. But for some company who needs a famous name “Tesla small SUV” beater.
Meh....
Can the Bowtie be this dumb? It’s become painfully obvious to the most casual observer that the Mach-e didn’t work. Can the Bowtie make Camaro EV not work better?
She would be fired in no time.
It wil lose money with alacrity.

Maybe they don’t disclose their future plans because they don’t want the enthusiasm to die before it even starts production or gets to the showrooms.
I had a 1998 Z28 with the LS1 engine, I miss that car.
A Corvette EV would make sense. They are usually not long-range cars and the speed would be incredible.
You should read about Jame Garners youth and early life, he really got around in life and had a lot of hard knocks, and that was before his time as WWII Merchant Marine at 16 and then his combat as an infantryman in Korea.

The question isn’t whether the Camaro makes a comeback...
...but whether GM stock survives its self-imposed disaster & General Motors president Mark Reuss still has a job afterwards.
smh
Pontiac is gone, my man.
I think that most everyone who needs* an EV has one, and since their used prices are absolutely crashing (as in 50% down in 2 years, at most), for the handful of people who still need* an EV, just buy a used Tesla.
*pretty much anyone who needs an EV has issues, along with anyone else who buys one.
Hey Mark you stoopid
No one is going to buy an electric camaro
Woke management has been trying to de-ball this entire segment of motor cars since the '70s'. I hope this fails bigly and I'll party when it does. Long live Internal Combustion and rich tailpipe emissions. #FGM
“You think you hate it now, wait until you drive it.”
It is idiocy to use iconic names for cars that bear no resemblance to their historic icons of the past.
You can’t just slap “Chevelle” or “Riviera” on a bloated pig of an SUV and think car nuts will flock to it just for the name plate.
Of course, there are very few of us car nuts left, as the US car culture continues its death spiral.
