Note: This movie sort of sums up my cynical view of 95% of America.
Totally corrupt, selfish politicians. Greedy bosses taking advantage of workers. Labor leaders grifting and embezzling.

The cowering innocent woman and her child saw the trapped husband and father killed. He wanted to oppose the labor bosses but would be beaten again and killed. If labor spies saw him oppose the union he was marked for death. If he stayed with the union the bosses’ hired army would single him out and beat and kill him and maybe his wife and son.

Hopeless.
