[Germany] The founding congress of the new AfD youth division, Generation Deutschland, drew thousands of Antifa rioters and other leftist protesters to Gießen.
Leftists flood the streets of Gießen Saturday in yet another anti-AfD protest.
Saturday saw one of the larger police actions in the history of the Federal Republic, as 5,000 officers deployed against a leftist mob numbering 25,000 or more. The Antifa network Aktionsbündnis Widersetzen (“Action Alliance Resist”), Social Democrat-aligned labour unions like DGB and Verdi and an array of “civil society organisations” took to the streets of Gießen to protest the founding congress of the new Alternative für Deutschland youth wing, “Generation Deutschland” (GD).
The GD congress itself counted only 840 attendees. Without the protesters and the media coverage, it might’ve escaped mainstream notice entirely. Aside from aspiring GD members, some AfD leadership also attended, including party co-chairs Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla. To defend Our Democracy against this dangerous assault, the well-funded Aktionsbündnis Widersetzen directed 200 buses full of protesters from across Germany to Hessen. Many rioters on these buses immediately established illegal street blockades at the major entry points to Gießen in the hopes of stopping attendees on their way to the venue.

In addition to obstructing major roads and highways, the protesters also blocked all three Gießen bridges across the Lahn River to the venue: [video at source]
At impromptu checkpoints, rioters demanded credentials of all who approached them, allowing only fellow travellers to pass.

But it fears the Alternative für Deutschland rising through the democratic process of elections. That same fear is seen by the German socialists ( SPD ), the Greens and still=approved Marxistisch-Leninistische Partei Deutschlands. Germany is trapped in the game of defining a "right wing" by the hardened Left wing.
They want the muslim invasion and will convert to islam in a second ?

Germany is a weird place. I’ve been there a couple of times when my BIL was with the state Dept in Frankfurt. Talk about repressed anger in a population. They don’t talk, they don’t smile, they don’t interact like Americans do.
Anytime to you see the words “our Democracy” you are seeing socialism/communism in poor disguise.
Antifa in USA is nothing!
The German antifa (which the US one follows) is a lot more powerful, organized, and violent.
I was once invited to a conference of climate realists in Germany.
Antifa totally destroyed their previous conference, which eventually happened in some airport hangar under protection of hundreds of policemen.
So the instruction to attend the next one was, no kidding: “Sign up, come to this town, check in a hotel of your choice and wait. At last second, we will send you a message, where and when the conference will take place!”
We guarantee you, it will happen sometime between these dates!

Germany’s Parliamentarian form of governing is just barely to the right of Marxism.
