This potty-mouthed passenger took a stand — and lost her seat.
A United Airlines passenger’s meltdown went viral after the irate woman lobbed a few choice words at a poised flight attendant during a delay on the tarmac at Newark Liberty International Airport.
A fellow traveler captured the woman’s entire tirade — which quickly garnered nearly 500,000 views on TikTok since it was posted on Nov. 10.
Then, in a moment of karmic glory, the testy traveler realizes she’s being recorded and goes dead silent. She drags her gaze away from the phone and tries to play it cool.
From there, other passengers tried to calm the woman down to no avail. The TikTokker said she “started spiraling” and eventually had to be “escorted off” the plane.

LOL, the guy manning the “dump” button was getting a cup of coffee thinking “The section is about Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon...what could go South with that?”

Want to encourage people to stop acting like animals, start treated your paying passengers like valued guests instead of cattle.THIS. If the woman was right in saying they'd been on the tarmac for an hour, I don't blame her for standing. Though she could have gone about it better.

I solved the problem this way...
I refuse to fly.

IMO US airports are the last place that any person would want to misbehave. You could be charged by the DOJ and wind up at Club Fed.

I’ll bet that Kim Jung Un is looking at those stats in the ROK. He could see it as an opportunity to invade...with China’s consent of course.

I started flying when the economy airlines helped make things go down hill. Still, I generally didn't have any problem putting up with cramped seats, cancelled/delayed flights, etc. Yes, it is 120 years later, but I still have a sense of wonder that a man can enter a metal tube, and be across the country the same day by flying in the sky. I do bring reading and snacks.

I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos of people being thrown off planes, or not being allowed to board. Alcohol is the #1 factor, but many times they’re just not emotionally stable and lose control over the littlest things. Always makes me wonder how they cope in normal, everyday life? I've watched those, too. I suspect they just have their temper tantrums and make life such hell for those they live or work with, that people just capitulate and give them what they want.
Which only reinforces the behavior and makes them worse than ever.

Agreed. One smart tip for those arriving at an airport for a flight...don't arrive drunk and don't drink while you're there. It's almost always drunks who wind up in handcuffs at an airport. And for that matter don't drink *during* your flight...unless you want to be greeted by police on arrival.
As for the wonders of flight...I've done some flying in my day and I still feel like a kid when aloft. Among my most vivid memories is the flight we took from Johannesburg to Rio and while flying over Namibia I could clearly see the sands of the Namib Desert meeting the green, tropical, waters of the South Atlantic. I got a great picture of it and I still have it today.

The witness who recorded the encounter later shared an update and explained that their flight to Charleston, South Carolina, was delayed for three hours before they even boarded, then halted for another hour and a half on the tarmac.Under those circumstances, I'm surprised more people don't lose it......

Wasn’t a rule passed recently acknowledging passengers rights under excessive delays? I do seem to recall something about three hour delays.

ALL women have some form of mental illness. It is the degree that it gets worse as they age that is different.

They are removed from the planes ALL THE TIME. There are stories on it almost every day. I see at least one a week posted here on FR.

This is the reason I stopped flying in 2002. Along with the airport insanity they call security that does nothing to make us safe but piss us off.
I realized I was paying people to treat me bad.

I have leg twitches. No way I can just sit indefinitely. Another reason NOT to fly.

And women vote at a greater rate than men - by a difference of about 12%.
No wonder we’re quickly becoming a matriarchy.
The 19th wasn’t such a good idea.
